The Telemarketing Executive is responsible for contacting potential customers, understanding their property requirements, and generating interest in the company’s projects or services. This role is crucial for creating qualified leads, booking site visits, and supporting the sales team by maintaining strong communication with prospects. A successful telemarketer must have excellent communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to manage large volumes of outbound and inbound calls professionally.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Lead Calling & Qualification
Make outbound calls to new and existing leads from CRM, online portals, and marketing campaigns.
Identify and understand the customer's needs, preferences, and budget.
Qualify prospects based on project fit and schedule site visits accordingly.
2. Follow-up & Lead Nurturing
Conduct follow-up calls for leads who have shown interest but not yet visited the site.
Remind and confirm site visit appointments with clients.
Maintain regular communication with potential buyers to build rapport and trust.
3. CRM & Data Management
Update lead status, call responses, and customer remarks accurately in the CRM system.
Ensure no lead is missed or delayed in follow-up due to lack of tracking or updates.
Coordinate with the CRM or sales team for hot or urgent leads.
4. Communication & Customer Handling
Answer inbound calls and explain project details clearly and professionally.
Handle objections or basic queries and escalate to the sales team if needed.
Ensure a polite, respectful, and service-focused tone in all interactions.
5. Coordination with Sales Team
Share qualified leads and visit confirmations with the respective sales executives.
Track the status of visits and closures, and maintain call-to-visit ratio reports.
Provide daily call updates to the manager or team lead.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing or customer calling (real estate preferred).
Excellent verbal communication skills in Tamil and basic English (multilingual is a plus).
Confident, persuasive, and target-oriented attitude.
Ability to handle large call volumes and follow structured scripts.
Experience using CRM tools, Excel sheets, and call tracking systems.
